Cascade

A study of the relationship between painting and sculpture Cascade is inspired by the flow and rhythm of fabrics painted by the old masters, perhaps the first instance of abstraction in painting. The collection explores an inherent paradox, the soft, diaphanous fabric, full of movement is rendered still, a moment frozen in time much like a piece of sculpture.
